Don and I standing on our lanai, looking straight out at 12-foot macking Sunset surf on our Hawaii Five-O trip. Stu captioned this one something like, "If it gets any bigger, maybe we should go out". It was insane...then we went out. In the wave shot, Don's right in the center in the black t-shirt if you can make out the details, I'm slightly ahead of him with the white dome. This wave looks pretty innocently perfect. I'm six feet tall and you can see my head and my feet...it was huge! Eddie Aikau would have gone, we paddled over it and waited for something slightly more managable. What a day!
